What is a Challenge Coin?

A challenge coin is a small coin or medallion bearing an organization's insignia, emblem or in our case an inspirational message of hope and promise from our Lord Jesus Christ. Traditionally, they might be given to prove membership and to enhance morale via a "hand to hand" transfer. They are also collected by service members and most law enforcement personnel. Historically, challenge coins were presented by unit commanders in recognition of special achievement by a member of the unit. They could also be exchanged in recognition of visits to an organization.

In coin collecting, a challenge coin is a uniquely designed coin that represents an organization, an occasion or in our case one of God's promises or message of hope. Receiving one of our challenge coins should be used as a reminder that He is always with us and will never forsake us.
